Rescheduling appointments is handled as two linked processes – cancelling the existing appointment and then scheduling a new one.
- Active patients must always have a future appointment. If you cancel an appointment you have to make a new appointment if you want to stay in treatment.
- The issue of how often to meet is one of the most important clinical issues in treatment, and therefore needs to be discussed with your clinician. So you can expect to hear concerns expressed if you decide, on your own, to reduce the frequency of visits.
- A reminder that we have a seven day cancellation policy. For more about the cancellation policy you can go to the “Beginning a Consultation” page and then read the “Information for Patients” form at the bottom of that page.

It is helpful if you describe your availability for an appointment in as much detail as possible since it usually takes several emails back and forth to schedule or reschedule an appointment. |
